PART 3++BIDEN WINS ELECTION
Discussion on the election results. The next topic will return to Surfside issues.
Quite the clown show with Don Jr. and Guliani ranting about the desperation of Democrats leading them to commit widespread fraud. Oddly enough Trump was whining about such nonsense well before the voting began, planning Legal contests - all of which having been dismissed by the Courts. Each State has its' own election laws and restrictions. That's supposed to be a Republican preference - States Rights. That's why there is no Federal Covid policy. The Fed sez they've done all they're going to do on the Pandemic. States are on their own. And no Federal funds to help cash-strapped municipalities, who will have to reduce school funding and other services.
I singlehandedly got Doug Malley to go private on Facebook. That's one less Facebook page spreading false information, misleading information, and straight-up misinformation. Nice!
Well said Steve, COVAID-19 worst yet to come and Federal leadership and help is modest at best and differs greatly depending on party affiliation ie: FL well supported. The virus will effect the economy... Zip will hit fan by Xmas & modified lockdowns ahead, stock up yer rolled paper people.
Trump is so offensive that we have been dismissive of the people who follow him. But the close election has taught me that there is almost half the country following his lead. Why is that? I think he is carrying an agenda for them that they like. Also his rhetoric has objectified (dehumanized) the opposition. That makes it possible for his followers to pass off the abuse/bullying tactics. I hope we can find common ground with that other half of the country. There are entrenched positions on both sides with sanctimonious self-righteousness. Could we just start with human dignity?

George has stated that this discussion would soon be brought to an end. As for politics, Trump's cuthroat approach to politics has brought all such dialogue to a new low. No one has ever used the position so irresponsibly, constantly lying and demeaning anyone who disagrees with him. He has no grace, no class, no respect for the position, and no awareness of how much effort goes into establishing environmental standards, clean air and water guidelines, roadless areas and nature preserves, on and on. I have been waiting for Biden to be declared the winner as expected. I wanted the readers to have the opportunity to respond before closing the topic. The emotions are running high on all sides. It would be nice if oppinions could be respected and those saying them, but as I have stated, Surfside seems to be a reflection of the Country. You should be able to figure that out easily enough. Probably 3/4 of the comments made are void of any content but to abuse others anonymously. Differing views aren't inherently offensive, though many comments are absent any valid basis or facts. Simple factual info often gets flack because it's contrary to reader's preference or HOA spin.

I can only imagine how much dues goes up for 2022! We won't have the surplus for the sheriff like we did this year. Most definetly will not get 500,000 worth out of a sheriff for us. Let's start using our money wisely and building our community up for the better.
I would rather use money to upgrade and update our common grounds structures. Install card access readers and have them open all year. We need to provide more fishing access to our waters. I don't what you're talking about access gates.

7:35....The Trump line of talk made endless crazy claims of the disaters that would ensue if Biden/Harris were elected. The fact is, Trump admin. had decided they would do nothing to slow the spread of the Covid virus. Infections are at 100,000 new DAILY cases. There is no option to addressing Covid aggressively in order to bring the economy back. This means a tough road ahead for new admin.and no picnic. They at least grasp the urgency of the Pandemic as priority one, and that means thousands of lives will be saved. We have good reason for optimism, as this admin. will be rooted in reality, and respect for technical/scientific knowledge.
Where does this crazy fear of bad people in the gov. Coming for ypur guns come from ? Rational people across the country support gun restrictions to help prevent domestic violence, suicide, gun violence, while fully supporting the 2nd amendment. But guns are not central to everyday life, and for all but recreational use, have only law enforcement/military uses. For most American families, guns are not an essential part of our lives in 2020. But no one in the Biden camp wants to take away anyone's right to gun ownership.

Nice thing about the process is that the MSM and the other Corporate media outlets really have NO say in this matter, only an opinion, which is different than mine.
Until all challenges are done and the ballot counting software "glitches" have been fixed and verified. No one will have any confidence in the system.
Once all the above is resolved and the election is certified then and only then we can move forward.
Lastly I want to thank all the voters of Pacific County again coming through for our President Donald J. Trump. and may his next four years be very fruitful for this country as a whole.
7:35AM, Trump has done more harm for this country than any other president in our history. The countries around the world are laughing at us, he has dismantled our ability to work with orthers to control the environment, save public lands from the oil drillers and mine diggers, taken away tax right offs for the middle class and given the wealthy all the tax benifits. He has done nothing to lessen the possibility of nuclear war with North Korea, or gain peace in the Middle East. He is a total failure.
I didn't vote for "free" things. I voted to bring respect back to the White House and our country. I voted for someone who would take the pandamic seriously so we can get pass it so the encomy and jobs can get back to where they were. Because of Trumps policies there is a bunch of dead people who disagree with you about his helping.
The farmers actually got screwed by Trump because of his China policies so they are forced to get government asistance.
