Talking with the mini mart owner, Jerry, he showed me where new pipe had been installed several years ago after numerous breaks in this area. I can not definitely confirm that the new breaks are in the new plastic blue pipe, but think it is reasonable to think it is.
You can see from the pictures that the first break was right at the intersection of H Place (a loop street) and I Street. The following break was several hundred feet to the South at the entrance to the mini mall. I would expect that there are several hundred feet of pipe that are compromised. The breaks can probably be directly related to the hydrant used in the controlled burn.
Later after these pictures, the crew was working at the site.

Why would there be bottled water for you at the office... It should be in your 72 hour emergency reserve. just don't forget to replace it.
Lastly and Sadly the water crew will have to hope and pray that the system holds over the next 24 hours once they bring the repaired section back on line.
I do have water saved. I just thought that if I don’t have to buy more I woul just get it from the office
Why should we have to buy our water twice?
Bout 2014-15 had a main break n bottled water was available n was delivered with a boil notice too most. I worked for the water dept at the time n did deliveries in my neighborhood, on a weekend, in the rain. My how things have changed.
So this is, what, the 4th boil water notice of the year? How many times do we have to suffer for the mis management of this resource?
I am not aware of any new water covenant. Only covenant change that I know of is the revised covenant change on lighting.
