What happened to the revealing letter that was supposed to go out to all Surfside members to inform them of some of the facts about what is happening in Surfside. Did you get a letter? I didn't. What happened to "know it all" Blagg and all her devoted followers who were planning to save us all? Is Blagg engaged in another effort at subterfuge to have her way? Tune in tomorrow for another episode of Surfside Sucks.
You 7:21 are childish n pathetic. But then you have had a lot of practice on this blog. You are def responsible for the majority of negative trash talk. Pointless blather.
As much as George would like to believe this blog is a beacon of truth, just the opposite is the reality. Conspiracies and innuendo are the norm for this blog. It really does not matter who is elected tomorrow. The prolific blogger champion of the people, aka Mr. Cox, has confessed he will follow the will of the rest of the board. No help or any transparency will be coming from him. Face it folks, if you do not like Surfside you may as well get out will the getting is good. Nothing is going to change here.
Beacon of truth? Never heard that on here, ever. It is a place where members can share information and have a discussion. Even the reports of others that I have presented here, were never identified as a beacon of truth. This is not a blog of record and that has never been claimed.
I would bet that the Board President, Gary Williams, will make reference to "Social Media" in his glowing address at the Annual Meeting. The association provides no means for any discussion. They hide the facts so that there will be no discussion. Gary and others fear the blog because it exposes them and asks the hard questions.
From what I have seen in the blog comments, most can figure out what statements are false and even why they are made. If Gary and his clowns are so concerned what is written on the blog, Why don't they get on here "and set the record straight"?
Social Media, and that includes this blog, are here to stay. Be truthful, honest and transparent, and then you have nothing to hide or cover up. Simple as that.
Williams should be booed off the stage. He deserves no respect. If he was half a man, he would resign and exit in shame. The same goes for Flood. The annual meeting will be nothing more than a freak show.
Give me a break George.
Why would Gary and his clowns come on here to subject themselves to a bunch of anonymous Bozo's. The fact that you even admit there are false statements made on here also validates the reason why and highlights what is wrong with "Social Media". Funny also that you have the nerve to talk about transparency given the fact you delete comments.
On a related note, we now know who the anonymous poster is that uses the term clowns all the time.

7:21 asked a couple of questions about a promised letter and actions from a group of troublemakers in Surfside. As usual, an attack comment was soon to follow. Any answers to the questions? Nope.
Defenders/members of the bot are on this blog alot. Their comments hold no offer of facts, just mean spirited comebacks. From the number, it seems they may be worried. Worried not about being reelected, but from being held accountable by the authorities, and eventually forced in shame from office.
BS 7:16...I have been called a board member or a cronie for simply stating my opinion. It's become obvious that there is a faction that wants their own way and be damned what the majority want. A small, loud mouth minority, that regret buying into Surfside.
Me also 8:57. The loud mouthed minority has stirred up a lot of discontent and distrust that is unnecessary and unproductive.
Now you have something against minorities?

The annual meeting is over. It looks like the good guys win again.
They are motivated by self-interest so are not "the good guys". But the majority of owners are so disconnected they let a minority of owners drive their own agenda at everyone else's expense.
7:21 - We thought we had a source of financing a mailing, but that didn't materialize. We're talking about over $2000. We are not J Placers with money to waste on printed signs, business cards, and mailings. And there is no rebel force - just owners who know the system is rigged, and equity among owners is not a priority with the BOT. The letter was published on the Blog.
By the way, you didn't hear the BOT breathe a word about all of the legal issues that have been slammed on to the community at great expense. That is not transparency, and transparency is a State requirement for HOA business. It is not surprising that our community has been found to be so non-compliant, and we can expect more of the same, given the evidence at the meeting. Not a word was spoken about fines and mismanagement.
Clancy wanted to insist that the permitting at the Waterworks was proceeding just fine, and to his credit, Bill Neil contradicted him. The County/State require Surfside to convert 12 times the amount of area built on, to be converted to wetlands. That is an absurd expectation in a community that was carved out of a swamp before the laws were changed and the Shoreline Plan became law.
Surfside is still trying to negotiate this, but until there is a resolution, our Water Dept, is in jeopardy of needing to be relocated at great expense.
