Friends of Surfside

Letter to members....

Members are standing up with proposals for needed change in our member association.
I support these needed changes.  The reduction to a five (5) member Board, would in my opinion, result in no candidates being elected to the Board this year.

Who are the friends of surfside or do they also remain anonymous?

I would think they are the Members who want change in this HOA, that will result in
open communications on all elements and operation of the HOA, Improve the voting system
allowing all members the chance to vote. Removal of all covenants that do not have
legal standing, oversight on budget spending, maintaining compliance with all State and County regulations.

I still want to know who these new friends of mine are?

And who just who you might be? Dumb.

Anonymous said...

Well..not too dumb, I just wanted the 1 or 2 persons involved with the letter to step forward. They are making it sound like there are a half dozen or more?

Reads like Blagg and her mini tribe.

Sorry, theres way more of us than you even dream. Keep your snarky comments to yourself.

THIS crap needs to stop. The letter is a nice start, but I would advocate for term limits as well. Totally agree that Flood and Clancy need to go!

Check back following the Board vote and I would bet that one or both of the above mentioned candidates have achieved re-election. Then the claims of proxy fraud can become yet again.

So u deny all Russ states?

What's worst. A Trustee who lives out of state who doesn't attend meetings or ones who live out of town or even up the street who do the same?

The letter cuts right to the heart of the matter...that the BOT has failed in their duty to conduct business in an open forum and inform members where our funds have been spent. The ongoing litigation has allowed the BOT to hide behind their lawyer. I personally feel they should all be in jail for conspiracy!!!

As to the pipe replacement project why don't we wait for continual breaks or the whole system collapsing and have a horrendous assessment and then you can all have something else to blame the Board for.

304 - you say that like it cannot happen. It can.

The Water dept. is a poster child for bad management and poor decisions. The Board is responsible, despite your gloss to the contrary.

Those like 3:04 continue to amaze me by their ignorance.

That statement is not out of ignorance. It is just someone trying to cover up the poor management and wasteful spending. George has time and again asked for proof of the failing pipe. All he ever got was a promise for testing from Bill Neal. Never happened or is George covering up the testing results? Maybe he will answer that.

The letter fails to point out the tens of thousands of dollars thee Board (Williams) spent on a lawsuit against Patrick that was dropped.

Noted that yesterday was “Armed For es Day” and a Board Meeting. Guess the HOA was too busy at the meeting to ensure that the American and POW flags were raised at the Veterans Park. The flags were among the missing.

Close enough for you?

Reduction to a Five (5) Member Board
I believe George is correct. I will vote against that proposed resolution.

Anonymous said...

The five member Board could work to your advantage if you can get three blog lackeys elected.

Better than fossils, or parrots.

7:52....George sometimes expresses his point of view, but the Blog has no point of view, no club, no "lackeys"....you really don't get it. You complain about deleted comments, and make this ignorant statement - no substance, just disrespect. It is pitiful that people are so fearful of dialogue and critiquing policy and expenditures. The BOT and Committees are VOLUNTEERS, managing OUR money. We have not only a right to analyze the good verses the bad, but a duty as members.
