Surfside Honors Our Veterans

Memorial Day Observance...with pictures

5/28/2018

40 to 50 people were in attendance for a brief observance for our Veterans at Veterans Park in Surfside.

Thank you to our employees for the well groomed park and the Community Relations Committee for the wreath. A special thanks to the Veterans groups and the young man who played taps.  Your presence and participation, not only honored our Veterans, but Surfside also.

Thank you most, for all Veterans who have served our Country. This observance is about you, past and present.

the presenters of the event outnumbered the participants as usual. george's counter is calibrated toward exaggeration of the numbers attending these events

2:53 and his numerous comments, remind me of a young schoolboy pulling a girls pigtails, just give it up n give George a big wet one. Lol

You can usually count all the Surfside members with your fingers and toes.

What is the status of the HOA's legal problems

I found an interesting article:

A DRIVEWAY IS NO PLACE TO PARK A TRUCK
A Florida man's pickup truck was too big for his garage, so he parked it in the driveway. The HOA, which wanted all vehicles in garages, decided it was unacceptable -- despite having given him permission before moving in. The homeowner stood his ground, winning a legal battle that lasted more than three years. The HOA was left on the hook for the man's legal fees, by then more than $187,000.

Notice the amount of legal fees.

That about $89 each, not bad, we can handle these lawsuits

How did this topic generate such off topic responses?

Yeah, nice way to show respect to the Vets. Some people just need to complain to make their lives complete.

You can pay my $89 for me then.
