The approved Board minutes contain more information than the summary we get in the WeekEnder.
From these minutes you can see how each Board member voted on the resolutions. It would be informative if each Board member explained their vote. Some of that information can be understood during the discussion before the actual vote.
As you read the votes, You have to ask, Why did Larry Raymer vote no and Mark Scott not vote on the fence complaint? (this is a trellis on top of a fence, which the County allows) (harassment?)
The soil erosion complaint was about landscaping that extended onto County right of way (J Place) It turns out the neighbor making the complain had his property doing the same. The motion was to defer to the County. Kurt Olds was the only No vote. Why?
The variance request was about an older cabin that had been here before the square footage requirements. Seems they want to do some work on it. Why would Jim Flood be the only one against this?
The golf course issue was about renting land to put stored gravel on., Rudd Turner Kurt Olds voted no. (one of the few times they voted right)
