Emergency Management Committee

May 29, 2018 meeting minutes

I see reading this that Scott Winegar, Board Secretary,  will be making a presentation on the Katrina Hurricane aftermath. "We will contract Kimber to get notices in the Weekender". Like you, I am just reading this today, the day of the meeting and his presentation.  I checked the last Weekender and saw nothing on this.  The puzzle, however, did make it.

And you thought the emergency cache was a dead issue?  I see the Community Relations Committee is going to move the storage shed from the RV lot to the office grounds. I am confused as to where the cache will be. Last I heard was the RV storage lot was being considered.

My suggestion would be to put the cache issue on the back burner....waaay back!
This is a selfish movement and is causing descent. It benefits only a few.

Personal cache are in order, then run for high ground.

I have my personal cache's, more than one. It's that row of houses on J Place. Probably some fancy food there. I will probably eat better after than before. I will even share with whoever is left. With one exception, Kirby!

Making snarky comments about the members on J Place solves nothing. It's no different than the shots taken on the east side dwellers. And the constant jabs about Kirby are unwarranted as well. And I would like to propose changing the name of the EMC to The sky is falling committee.

Is your proposal to change the name of the committee to "The sky is falling committee" a snarky comment? When it comes to snarky, "It takes one to know one" Does a name change solve anything?
