They are a part of all HOA's Their purpose is to ensure that those who own property there can have a safe, neat and clean property. They are supposed to maintain property values of your investment or home.
They must be fair and apply to all members equally. They must reflect the will of all members, or at least a majority. They must act and function lawfully. Surfside HOA does not meet the basic guidlines and many State (RCW) laws. Our covenants need to be reviewed and recommended changes put to the members for a vote

Surfside looks like a trailer park, not a neat HOA. RV's should only be allowed by permit any time of the year. Compare the East side to the West side and see the difference. So far we have been able to keep the hunky places on the East side. Why do they allow those trailers along the oystervill road? Another bad image of Surfside. I am glad to see they are finally going to enforce the covenants. It's about time.
Hence why it is a recreational community, not a metro neighborhood. Considering off season is a ghost town, (recreational). Why be such a snob "after" you purchased here.
One of the reasons I live here is the covenants. Could they be tweaked every now and then? Sure. But for the most part, keep them as they are.
The part of Surfside I live in is beautiful and friendly neighbors. Not sure what you mean about a trailer park. About time they enforce covenants... are we talking east side finally...the entire SBOT is afraid to go into the east side.
Trailers on Oysterville...what you mean? the only shithole is on the corner of Oysterville and I.

Why do you delete some of Freds comments yet allow such hatred to spew from so many anonymous? Fred and Annettte are good people and those that know them know that. Your blog is a divide just like our country and your blog is filled with hate.
So instead of deleting my comment again, why not answer my questions
I delete all comments that attack me and the blog. Differing opinions are welcome. Attacks me, are not. It is a simple rule and clearly stated in "this blog". My response to you is an exception, which I will not do again. You are expected to follow the rules the same as everyone else.
