The hearing is Thursday, Jan. 9, 2020.
I do not know if there will be any decisions made by the County at this meeting. It may just be a part of the required formal process where Surfside will present their proposal and agreement to the mitigation. The County may very well say NO, you need to agree to this or that. The County is holding all the cards. It may be that the association will be represented by their mitigation lawyer, if they are smart, and let him do all the talking. As we have seen, we sure don't want the Board President to say anything. I am sure this Board, wishes they had treated the County with at least some respect.
Even with this "hearing", we may not know the final judgement until later. This is the place where you will want to check back and see the observations of those members who attended. As we also know, we can get more truth from the members, than the Board. They seem to be good at not speaking when they should, and speaking when they should not. And that is one of the reasons for the extreme legal costs.
