At least one Board Trustee who will demand full information and hold those responsible, accountable. Someone who will say "why?"
There is no such person on the present Board. There has not even been such a person in years. And yes, I include myself. Personal insults and disrespect has taken a toll on many past Board members. It does take a majority of Board members to pass anything. My choice was that I could get more information to the members by being off the Board. This could have also proven to be a waste of my time.
It is my hope that a candidate will be elected who will question everything. I hope they pound on the table and demand answers and accountability. I hope they get as mad as hell. Expose those who only act in their own interests or are to lazy to make an effort on their own.
with a total member vote of 300 to 400 on anything, it is time for the members to also step up and do their responsibility by voting. If they don't vote or participate in anything, they have no right to whine and complain. In the member defense, I will say that the deliberate effort to keep the members uninformed has been working. Most have no idea of the mess we are in or how we got here.
I and others have done about all we can. Now it's your turn.

Thank heavens that covenant enforcement includes penalties for those who fail to follow the rules. Think again 10:23. Factual information often needs to be ascertained via investigations. Duh! The causers of problems are the members who persist in flaunting their will to violate the covenants.

Telling the members the truth about the HOA cover-up is "trouble-making" huh ? You are a pitiful chump who is satisfied with a BOT that lies to the entire community of over 4000 owners, and pisses away 100s of thousands of dollars trying to screw-up the lives of 2 RV lot owners.
Mr. Flood has been on the BOT for 12 straight years, and has insisted the waterline replacement MUST go on, yet he is on the Water Dept. Committee and wasn't aware that mishandling of Asbestos was going on ? Bill Neal attends all Water Dept. meetings, though Flood does not attend ANY meetings in person. The entire Board has easy access to the Waterworks site, and Neal attends many BOT meetings, yet the BOT didn't know about this ?
Your Board is incapable of following regulatory standards, or showing respect to County, State and Federal regulators, but you're worried about shed eaves and RV owners, trees that do not block anyone's views, and owners having the right to approve or disapprove of covenant changes ?

Wow, have you seen the sign on Mr “I never met someone else’s dollar I couldn’t waste” Clancy’s illegitimate “service building” (better known as a garage that as constructed violates the Covenants). Are they going to protect us from the Russians, ISIS? Maybe just against the rights of free speech and for the owners to have a say in what this organization is doing? Would like to have a real accounting of our funds spent on failed projects, fines, legal fees (including what actions they are addressing), ruined equipment, and grants given to Committees without approval of the membership (remember the Laser tree height measuring device). Just saying, the biggest item we need protection from is the Board and recent Board members.
Yes, Clancy's garage violates the covenants and violated the covenants when it was built. The roof and siding does not match his house as required by the covenants. He was on the BOD when he got it approved by the dishonest Architectural Committee.
