Do we care about them?
I took these pictures this morning of baby deer. They are also residents of Surfside. One was born this morning and spent the first couple of hours under a bush in my driveway. Saw the other mother and baby by Deer Lake. They depend on the fresh water and forest cover to provide their needs everyday. The forest and the ocean, side by side. What could be better?

I was fortunate to have a baby born near me the first year I moved here. So sweet- just makes for a wonderful day!
