Sometimes we need to stop and take a deep breath and appreciate what we have.
This is an image taken from the Clam Can at Klipsan Beach approach. It would be nice if Surfside had a camera like this that our members could check and see how the weather is at any time. How about one mounted on the office, looking toward the bridge? Veterans Park?
Why? One more it would be nice to have to pay for. And then there is maintainance. I know. Why don't you pay for it and maintain it George. Mount it on one of your blog buddies homes.
ReplyDeleteYou truly enjoy the role of blog curmudgeon, dont you? Try coming up with a positive response once, just to change it up.
Delete2:35 .... Ever heard of the term kindness? Joy ? Community ? You are one sour old poop.
ReplyDeleteI think the camera would be a nice idea. Maybe a camera at the Oysterville Rd access. The cost would be minimal. It might need to be near a transmission point.
Then pay for it 2:43 and install it. And by the way don't forget the internet access, power and vandalism protection.
ReplyDeleteHey, had no prob spending money without board approval on our office/vault modification with cameras. What’s one more that actually makes sense.
ReplyDeleteCameras in the office and "vault". Somehow over the years Surfside has gotten the idea that it is more important than it really is. One incident occurs in the office an all of a sudden it's a threat to national security and the level of protection becomes on par with the home of that crazy bad hair dude in Washington DC. Surfside isn't that vital to the survival of the west coast.
ReplyDeleteSorry, don't need a camera to tell me how great it is to live here. Unlike some I actually enjoy it here. That's why I live here FULL TIME.
ReplyDeleteI think a camera mounted on a high pole at our entrance to our well field off J Place, would be a good choice. Pointed toward the ocean, it would be a good representation of Surfside. Everyone would be able to go to the web sight and see the spectacular sunsets and the 4th of July fire works.
ReplyDeleteMike the computer guy, who does all the work on our computers, has a camera at his place on Sandridge which points toward the Willapa hills. He also provides one of the better weather reports and forcast. You can see all the cameras on the peninsula at funbeach.com
Our camera could be included. He has the experience and know how to set up one for us and maintain it.
This is an opportunity to improve our public image, which is so badly needed.
Shutting down this rag would go a long way to improving Surfsides image
ReplyDeleteThat would be ideal for you, wouldn't it? The same old clowns performing the same old tricks.
DeleteIf you don't like it, don't read it. Trust me, you won't be missed.
2:44 you are a stick in the mud. We see you must read it? What's that say about you? I think the camera is a good idea.
ReplyDeletePeople like you, 2:44 , is why reputation in Surfside is so bad. Its a sad state of affairs that you even bother to comment on blog. Please just go away and hang with your other clan members. George, your blog is one of the only good things happening right now in Snobside, whoops Surfside.
ReplyDeleteI like the idea....just do it and bill the association....isn't that how the cache was done?
ReplyDeleteI agree with George on the J pl viewpoint. It would really give a nice representation even without the sunsets.
ReplyDeleteI guess in this instance you would be OK with making sure any trees in front are in compliance and weren't blocking the view.
Couldn’t we use part of the 13% increase for the webcam
