They have not been keeping up with letting water out. Do your job

I just wish they would quit dumping all that sand just to the north of the approach road! It causes the surf to surge straight up the road, thus causing the road to funnel the water up to the east! If those piles weren’t there, the surges would just disperse on the beach like they should. Does anyone have an idea who makes this decision to dump there?

Joanne, the last time I seen trucks digging and dumping sand, it was the Lindstrom company. I was told different companies take care of different approaches and the clean outs. I would think Surfside should know who to contact.

Thanks I’ll try that. I have found the jurisdiction of the beach and the approach and the dunes is very tricky. County road down to the beac, then it’s state responsibility and the dunes? I just know from living here this long that those truck loads of sand being dumped there causes big problems.

I just saw Guv Kovid Kate of Orygone just extended lockdowns until March. I guess since Bat Stew Flu cases are rising during the current lockdown, that the only way to prevent rises is more lockdowns. I assume jay inbred will need to one up her, hold on to your seats folks, going to be a bumpy four years or longer.

People who serve as elected officials need to make difficult decisions in difficult circumstances, a concept apparently over your head. I haven't read the details on the matter you mention, but governors don't make such decisions by themselves, but with the recommendations of trusted advisors and health experts. It is predicted that most citizens won't be offered vaccine for Covid until Spring & Summer. The only way life/business can return to normal is if close to 80% of the population is vaccinated. It is true that over time we may see some unexpected reactions, though some minor illness lasting only hours may be somewhat common. The dangerous longterm effects often experienced by those who have had the Covid virus, makes taking the vaccine a welcome alternative. Four years has nothing to do with the illness.

8:10 response:
I’m in total agreement to your comments. I foolishly wrote in Cox’s name for election. Not gonna ever happen again. He’s not rational and his fear tactics, in my opinion, are what’s one of the problems in today’s world. And btw Steve: I voted for President Trump and proud of it. Take that in your pipe and smoke it. ( Better lay off the doobie smoking cause your comments lead me to believe that you toke up often)
Signed: A Proud Trump Fan

Word has it that the tree committee and the compliance lady will start issuing fines for the trees that have been trimmed, but the branches are on the ground still. Maybe they and the board need a refresher course. Tree limbs are inert material, they compost and break down, they are not solid waste. There is no code for fining someone having branches on their property. You are allowed to compost and this time of year it is not a fire hazard. Perhaps they need to be ready for a lawsuit on this. I know of 2 parties ready to get at them.
Surfside again, needs to get out of the compliance business and leave that to the county compliance officer, Travis!
What Surfside can do is, Clean up the debris that clogs the man made drainage ditch(Seabreeze Lake) and the other lakes and canals. I understand wildlife need shelter, but for the love of God, we do not need branches hanging into these bodies of water clogging it up.
Open the passage ways and let the water out, they are way over what they should be
Go pick on area 52 and get their solid waste and their shitholes cleaned up. Stop with the trees.

4:17, I figured out long ago not to support Cox in his ventures! But as you can read from his 12:00 PM posting he has been involved in all of the vaccine testing and is obviously a big part of the Scientific Community! Or maybe Joe filled him on his plan to stop COVID!

I just at the end of the year want to see total death numbers for all causes in 2020 compared to the total death numbers of all causes in 2019, I know that’s a sad thing but it is truly the only way we will know the possible COVID deaths and how terribly it has affected the Nation.

You wouldn't know rational if it bit you on the face.

I follow the news daily, and they have experts explain what's going on with the virus and vaccine. The loss of life is tallied daily. The Trump administration has tried to keep numbers low, but the CDC keeps a running tally. It is known for certain that many people have been infected and never knew, or in some cases never went to be tested. Very poor elderly who are in poor health may have died without anyone knowing what killed them. Health experts say the numbers on record are less than thr true numbers which we will never know. I ran for Trustee in 2019. What are all these "ventures" you are imagining ? I haven't pursued politics beyond 2019 Surfside elections. Don't really like politics.
